This 1950’s documentary by Toni Hagen is really awesome and shows how beautiful Nepal was in the past. The documentary was filmed by Toni Hagen and is narrated in Nepali. Toni Hagen filmed Nepalese cultural and ethnic diversity originally as produced as a silent documentary, and later with an English narration in his own voice. This one is further narrated in Nepal.
Filmmaker Toni Hagen shot much of his sociological documentary “Uhile ko Nepal” between 1950 and 1960 – a decade when the gates of Nepal had only recently been opened to the outside world.
